Installation and activation, please follow these steps carefully

1. Disconnect from the internet during installation process

2. Install UltraCompare

3. Run it once or twice, until a registration window pops up

4. In that window, click 'Enter License Key' (the green button)

5. Enter anything in License ID and Password fileds, then click activate

6. A small popup will show error message 'Connection error' and an option for 'Offline Activation'

7. Click 'Offline Activation'



8. A new window pops up, enter anything in License ID and Password fileds (top fields)

9. Run the keygen, select UltraCompare 15.x from the dropdown menu, and copy User Code 1 + User Code 2 shown in UltraEdit registration window to the relevant fields in keygen

10. In keygen click generate and copy generated Authorization Code 1 + Authorization Code 1 to UltraCompare registration window

11. Click Activate, wait for a few second, you're done

12. Close the application

13. Now you must prevent the application from connecting to ultraedit servers

Method 1: Use the keygen and click 'Patch Host File'
Method 2: add the following entries to your hosts file WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\:
127.0.0.1 licensing.ultraedit.com
127.0.0.1 licensing2.ultraedit.com
You may now reconnect to the internet

Method 3: reconnect to the internet, run the software and block internet access with your firewall

14. Do not update the application !
